Buddy Weir, Director of County Club Operations
Buddy brings 22 years of cruise ship, casino, hotel, and restaurant experience to the Diamondhead Country Club. Some of his memorable positions included Director of Food and Beverage for The Pontchartrain Hotel in New Orleans, General Manager of the Harbor House Hotel and its’ companion The Pink Elephant Hotel on Nantucket Island, and in Milwaukee for the Phister and Marc Plaza Hotels. Buddy has been very active in the food side of the hospitality industry, with most of his training received from French chefs. He appreciates the French style of food preparation and service as well as wine service. He feels that each position held has provided him with outstanding opportunities to learn and bring this knowledge to the guests of the Diamondhead Country Club.

Charlie Nieves, Executive Chef
Chef Charlie has been working his culinary magic at the Diamondhead Country Club for 3 years. We are proud to say that Charlie was recently awarded the Chef of the Year by the Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Culinary Federation. Originally from New Jersey, his road to Diamondhead has included positions as Executive Chef at Heavenly Ski Resort, Lake Tahoe; Executive Chef at Le’Buerge De Sedona, Sedona, AZ; Chef De Cuisine at the Pier House Restaurant in Key West, FL; Chef De Cuisine at Pier 4, Casino Magic Biloxi & Corporate Chef for the restaurant division of Legendary, Inc., of Destin FL. Chef Charlie is currently the President of the American Culinary Federation for the MS Gulf Coast and is working towards the Certified Executive Chef designation through the American Culinary Federation. The Diamondhead Country Club is proud to have Chef Charlie as a member of their team.

Nancy Perkins, Director of Sales & Marketing
Nancy & her husband Dick moved to Diamondhead from Laguna Niguel, CA in 2003 & began working for the POA in 2007. She has 30 years of Sales & Marketing experience; 15 of which were in the hospitality industry. Most of those years were with Marriott Hotels in New Orleans, LA, Houston,TX, Atlanta, GA, Marina del Rey, CA & Long Beach, CA. After leaving the hospitality industry she was a Sales Manager for the second largest privately held contract security firm in the U.S. She is an enthusiastic tennis player, board member of the Diamondhead Business & Professional Association, Secretary of the Harrison/Hancock Community Tennis Association, and member of Rotary Club of Central Hancock County. Shelley Tolson, Events Coordinator
As Events Coordinator for the Diamondhead Country Club, Shelley organizes all functions including weddings, social parties, meetings and more. Prior to Diamondhead, Shelley was the Meeting & Events Planner for the City of Covington. She has over 30 years experience in Sales & Marketing for convention, tourism and special event industries; with 10 of those years working for New Orleans area casinos. She is actively involved with numerous organizations. Shelley was born in New Orleans and raised in Covington. She now lives in Diamondhead with her husband Craig and their daughter Brooke. David Flink, Assistant Manager
David was born in Inchun, South Korea and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has been a Diamondhead resident since 2004 when he began working at the Country Club in 2004 as an administrative assistant. David was promoted to his current position in September, 2008. He is a recent graduate of the University of Southern MS with a Business Administration degree.

Jequetta Redwine, Beverage Manager
Born and raised in Dallas, TX, Jequetta has been in the hospitality industry 37 years and a MS resident for 18 years. In addition to various server, bartender and management positions, she was also a Trainer for Ruby Tuesdays restaurants. Her first job in this area was at Roosters Restaurant in the Kiln. Promoted to Beverage Manager over a year ago, Jequetta enjoys meeting residents and visitors alike and leading the bartending team for the Diamondhead Country Club.
